Does anyone else think that mobile apps are priced extremely reasonable and the fact that you get all the updates automatically for free is a amazing? Sorry to say that the one app I don't own, but should check out is FL Studio mobile. I say this because Fruity loops and it's transformation to FL Studio, started with this concept and I thought it brilliant way back in 2000 when no other developer was offering this for the PC that I could see. Fast forward to 2012 and my income has almost tripled, but the app prices for equivalent quality software is three times less expensive.

We still have a ways to go in functionality for getting a complete studio with plugins on a mobile device (something like vst plugins working on the mobile platform), but feel that is going to coming in the not too distant future.

When I open up my case to my ipad 2, it is almost like going to a Sam Ash Music or Guitar Center store. Tons of cool things to try and purchasing at the ready, all with reviews available and sale prices going on.

Tactile input available on my instruments is where it's at too. See it, touch it to fiddle with controls. Interact with it.

Great stuff.

I have had my iPad/iPad 2 now for almost 2 years, and I still think its a blast. Sure, most of the .99 apps are weak or limited, but I always at least get my .99 value out of them before I delete. Then there are the real gems, that are worth 10 times what you pay for them. The app store really is one of the main reasons for the iPads success. Hardware is pointless without software....

Going on two years and I for sure would get another iPad if I lost mine......
