1+ I have not read this thread for a bit. It is a question about a silly cell phone not world peas.. um peaceMeffy wrote:Don't play word games. You will lose. Posting personal attacks is an issue.
If you want to argue facts, argue facts. Don't post insults like "Sorry little Grain Bastard, but to me it looks like you totally fit in the typical uninformed, biased iPhone user scheme" and similar stuff in your previous posts, or you will get time off. That's pretty close to blatant trolling, flame-baiting at the very least. Capisce?

I wouldn't mind having an iphone if i could afford one. And what's the deal with the outrageous price differences of €100 between the 16GB/32GB and 64GB versions? The last microSD card i bought was €10 for 16GB, and that was 6 months ago. Is Apple having their flash memory crafted by ancient Norse gods on mount sillicon or something?
I'm happy with my HTC Wildfire S, but it's slow, the touch responce of the user interface lags for maybe 0.5 seconds, but it's noticable enough to annoy me. And forget about music apps, way too much lag to be usable. More here:

Have you concidered Windows Phone 7? It seems to be strongly gaining popularity, has no fragmentation (because of the minimum required specs by MS), and is really cheap. Also, the UI and overal response seems to be on par with Apple.

Isn't running low latency pretty much the whole point??? That's like a car that is cheaper than the rest but has no headlights or wipers so you can never drive at night or when it is raining.... Yeah, my statement is relevant because this IS a music site, correct??? Or are you just gonna continue with your anti-Apple trollathon? Yeah I know you are a mod, don't give a crap, I actually make music, I don't pretend and hide behind the MODERATOR banner.Meffy wrote:My Droid X feels good and solid and the display cover is of Gorilla Glass. Not a visible scratch on it. IIRC the other Droid models have it too.
What Droids don't have is low latency for music, at least not the OS version I have. To me that matters not, as I didn't get it to run music software on.

Um... better read again, because you got it entirely wrong. I use an Android, but was recommending the Apple for those who want to make music.licasto2 wrote:Isn't running low latency pretty much the whole point??? Nothing to hide from here, unless you consider agreeing with you on which phone to get for music-making worthy of hiding from.
