Don't beat yourself up - when I was building my Shruthi-1 synth I managed to solder the first pushbutton to the wrong side of the pcb.

If you look at picture with the the 3 PCBs , the one on the top right is the wrong way around. Haven't soldered them yet though.

Am enjoying this thread mightily btw.
