I'll have this on Thursday when my new DAW gets here, I wonder what the upgrade will cost.

Hey there,keyman_sam wrote:I'm trying to understand it, and I have the manual open too, but please help me with the following:
1). I want to hit the play button and have it automatically sync with host timeline. How do I do this?
2). Even if I set the key to C minor, it keeps playing in D minor, for some reason. How can I leave the original voice untouched?
3). How do I select multiple notes? This has me stumped. Tried right click, left click, etc.
please feel free to contact our support at support [at] zplane.de or to post in our forums. Your issues should be easy to sort out. Time line synchronization for instance should work without changing any settings at all. We would also be glad for your on input specific difficulties you had to struggle with, if only to improve the manual of the upcoming version.
Cheers,
Alexander
With respect to vielklang II, it turned out to be more work than we anticipated but we will post some screenshots soon, most likely on our facebook page.

Thanks for being communicative. Glad to know you guys care about the customer. That's something I love about supporting the smaller companies.
Anyways, today I got the host synchronization sorted out. I ran into another issue though - why is it not recognizing the standard pitch? It is always out of pitch, possibly due to the samplerate mismatch it is complaining about. Would be wonderful to get that fixed.

This is ambitious software ... but it's hard to imagine using the audio output harmonies for anything more than a background washy, pad like sound.
What's useful is taking an audio loop or stem you like and outputting the harmony as midi to use for arranging other voices around the original audio.
"That's what I'm talkin' about!"
Como

Help! I've fallen up and can't get down!

Hmm, vielklang does automatically extract the tuning frequency from the audio, so that shouldn't be the problem.keyman_sam wrote:I ran into another issue though - why is it not recognizing the standard pitch? This sounds a lot like it is related to your sample rate mismatch. If, for example, the sample rates 44.1 and 48kHz are confused it leads to a pitch deviation of about 1.5 semi-tones. Maybe you enabled resampling during the audio export?
My suggestion would be to send us an example project and audio file(s) so we can figure this out.
Best,
Alexander

I have my unlock key but my DAW is not a machine that goes online and when I open the harmonizer there is no choice to unlock it only options that want to go online...how do I register this?

you need the full (not the publicly available demo!) version, your serial number and the unlock key. You received the serial number when you bought the software and you can get both the full version and the unlock key in your zplane account here. You can log in and download from any computer.
Feel free to contact our support (support [at] zplane.de) if you have any questions or problems.

Now I got an ADA8000 so I can hook up my TC Helicon and perhaps even do some A/B testing.

There is an instruction video on the Vielklang site that helps to sort out the somewhat complicated sync thingy...
http://vielklang.zplane.de/index.php?page=video That should get you started. Good luck:)
