Yeah exactly, I'm eager for absolute authority, nothing less.
Thanks, though the site is too simple-minded for me. Many times I asked wife to freshen the site up, as far as her taste much better than mine, but she doesn't want to try.

Something like green chars on black background with pink selection marks from nostalgic past?

I like the new design of the site Dmitry. But to be really honest with you. The old one (Grays with Orange) looked much more appealing to my eyes.sches wrote:Something like green chars on black background with pink selection marks from nostalgic past?

Just saw the new website - feels a bit boring to me and lacks the character the old one had. What's the reason for the change?
Cheers,
Tom

I like how you get all the info straight away on the website. Some other developer's websites are horrible when you try to find info .. you sort of have to scan everything from left to right, up to down, in order to just find some simple info of the synth.
It's how it should be: There's a picture of the ui and when you click it you open a natural sized image. You find the user's manual on top and it's easy to spot. No extra download page where you have to scroll through whatever.
As you can tell, im one of those who want's to find what i want to find straight away without and roadblocks .. and i don't care much for how it looks (though i think it looks fine!)
About the DFX video: I hadn't thought about the sine waveshaper modulating the input (is it am or fm?). That's something i have to work it a lot more! If you wan't Dmitry, please explain how the sine waveshaper works!

Well, I'm a designer by trade and while I love how the information is presented in a clear and straightforward way, my eyes love being pampered too
But nothing critical of course, just some random feedback for what it's worth...
Cheers,
Tom

Thanks guys for the feedback! The reason to change the website is simple. The old one was a single-plugin-site. It was enough until the second plugin came. Now we have an expandable website ready for arrival of another products. I know, it's too simple now, and probably a bit worse than the previous one, but it has sucked the lifeblood out of me. Though the site is acceptable for now, I'll be working on it yet.
The sine shaper is a cool thing. Technically it is a simple waveshaper with a sinusoidal curve. You can for example get free Robin Schmidt's FuncShaper and type in sin(x) - you will get a sine shaper. The interesting thing here is that FM synthesis and waveshaping are quite different techniques, but not in the case of the sine shaper. Thanks to math the sine shaper acts like a simple FM-modulator with a sine carrier. So you are right here, consider the sine shaper like an additional FM-modulator, which doesn't provide pitch controls for the carrier though. Really Bjorn, it seems there is nothing I can hide from you.
Sorry, loopdon. There is no group buy or sales, at least until we'll have more than one commercial plugin.
