How to make this sound

A couple of suggestions ...
1) Use a sample of a percussive / mallet / bell sound. It's not very bright so apply a low pass filter
2) Use FM synthesis
Both Albino and Blue should have plenty of bells, since they both do FM. In Albino check out:
Ambient Sounds -> Hi Bell
Turn off the effects, and turn filter 1 down a bit. Study this preset to learn how to create FM bells ... very useful technique to know.
The delay and reverb in the actual track should be easy enough to work out once you have the sound.
Peace,
Andy.

Second try sounds really, really close. Different notes used in the original (seems to have a much lower pitched note starting, or perhaps its two notes together - same note, on different octaves) but I think that is the same sound.
I think there is more ability in you than you show
