I'm not sure. I sent you an email kirk since few days and no reply.

I need to know i f the discount is already applied to the price for upgrades or if i need you send me an invoice to pay via paypal.

Because i do not want disturb you after reclaiming a refund if the discount is really not applied.

Hope you understand my bad english.

Thanks a lot !!

Best Regards From France !! !! !! ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ^^ ^^ ^^
For upgrades, the discounts, if any, are already applied to the price. Obviously, those who purchase an upgrade have already purchased the library to which the upgrade applies. Therefore, to add an additional discount is really pointless.

BUT WAIT! I have just decided to lower the price of the TVEC 4 upgrades. The prices will be posted later today. Those of you who have purchased TVEC 4 at the original price will automatically get the difference refunded to you once the new prices go up.

The new prices will be at http://www.kirkhunterstudios.com/purchase_tvec4.html

Great! Ready to buy the CS2 as a starter :)

Have there been any developments in bug-fixing as of late? I still recall complaints about trumpet samples in Diamond woodwind sections and the like.

Here are the IntervaLive fixes for the older instruments:
Trumpet Solo b
French Horn Solo b
Trombone Solo b
Tuba solo

http://diamondfixes.s3.amazonaws.com/00_a_fixes.zip

put the resultant folder (after extraction) named "00_a_fixes" into your Diamond folder. It should appear right above your "00_Concert_Str_Combinations" folder.

Thank you. Now...I'm curious if it's possible to decrease how much RAM is used by Diamond and CBII. My 8GB gets depleted quickly.

Also, may I suggest a new product? There is no "combination" patch for brass, so the best I can do is create a custom multi with French Horns, Trumpets, and Trombones. A dedicated sample library would be something for you to consider.

Diamond has those kinds of patches. CB2 does not. I'll look into doing one for CB2, but it's a LOT of work to make such things.

Hi Kirk,

A couple of questions/comments.

1) All these individual patches and bugfixes are good but starting to get really confusing. If the Amazon downloader you are using is centralized, could you update the TVEC3 download file (just the actual tvec3 patches) with the new bugfixes so each of these patches are up to date. I know people may customize their patches, however atleast this will mean this is a central place for the most up to date copies of the default patches.

2) As previously noted, there is something wrong with the mapping of the woodwinds in Diamond. For example, if you have the file structure setup as you advise, then delete the brass sample folders, a number of the woodwind patches will not load correctly as they are pointing to samples in the brass folder. As well the sound on some of these patches can be strange at times...

If you could be more specific as to what you're trying to do, maybe I could help. Also, any screenshots of the trouble you're having would help too.

Hi,

Sorry about my bad english, it's hard for me to be very clear.

I tried to use patternmaker to give a rythm to my play like can do session strings from NAtive instruments (chen use the animator mode).

Maybe i place the dowloaded files (for upgrades) in the wrong place.

Hopes to have choice the good words.

Thanks a lot !!

Best Regards. :) :) :) :) :) :)

Hi,

"Problem" solved. I tried always in smooth articulation and when i read again the help section for the upgrade to v4 i see that smooth doesn't works with pattern maker.

So i test the others instead to try to change my notes in the piano roll (Fruity Loops Is my DAW) or change the presets.

Really cool and it's little word, for this excellent new feature.

I will try the others next.

Thanks a lot for your work Kirk, it's a pleasure to use your plugins even i'm just a beginner in orchestration music.

Best Regards.

Not sure whether I've missed some details but I am still not really clear about what TVEC4 upgrade brings to the party. The introductory pricing is open for just one more week until March 15, but as an owner of CS2, CB2, Diamond & PRS it would still be quite a big investment ($249 discounted) to hit all products. Anyone got any suggestions that might help me decide whether to go for it (or maybe one of these - which one?), has anybody purchased TVEC4 and have any experiences to share here?
Many Thanks

Ok, so I pulled the trigger and SLASHED the TVEC 4 upgrade price. It's now only $29.00 and even less if you get multiple upgrades for your various libraries. Please note that further discounts do not apply. Upgrades are upgrades.

http://www.kirkhunterstudios.com/purchase_tvec4.html

Also note - Those of you who already purchased TVEC 4 upgrades have been given appropriate refunds so that the price you have paid is the same as the current slashed price.

Thanks! I was hesitating to get the upgrades for CS 2, CB 2 & Diamond, but now I just got it!

Maybe you should send an e-mail to all your customers to spread the news...

By the way, all the updates that are listed at the beginning of this thread, do we have to install them if we upgrade to VTEC 4? If so, do they have to be installed before the upgrade or it doesn't matter?

Also, if I bought these 3 products during the Group buy, do I have to install the updates prior to the end of 2011?
