anyone know some intelligent way to scroll the project window in ACID vertically (up/down) without the scrollbar and the middle mouse button? its so slow.... have a bunch of tracks and it really kills the workflow with that slow scrolling :/

if you have the tracks focused, you can use the up/down arrow keys to scroll through them. you can also use page up/page down to jump to the start or end faster. also, if you go to options-customise keyboard, you may be able to create your own shortcuts for this.

tried looking at the shortcuts and not sure if its in there, kinda confusing with those names, cant find anything with next/prev or track up down... thing is i dont want to move my mouse and click around to select things just to be able to have my keys work on them... geez i wish there was a way to scroll with the mouse wheel up and down like every other daw, kinda kills it, pgup/down is good tho, at least gets me up and down, but when u have like 200 tracks... i dont know

your second post implied you didn't want to use the scroll wheel, but your last post implies you do. nevertheless, if you do, hold down ctrl when scrolling...instant up down.

i meant middlemouseclicking, the arrow that pops up and you can move the mouse up and down.
ctrl+mousewheel works...
maybe theres a shortcut to focus trackview... preferred method is clicking buttons for up and down, weird that they left that out, or that it needs focus.
