Sorry been away from KVR for a day or two engrossed in a new product I'm making-
The Casio is sorted out(I have access to another one) so I'm making a start on it this week in the background to all my other things on the go.
Will keep you posted.

Received the new presets files, thanks Steve.
Some really fantastic new patches in there. Polychrome has an intuitive user interface and editing is really very easy and the GUI looks fantastic. Choirs are still my favourites. I have always loved the Roland VP330 for its analogue choirs. But it can't compete with Polychrome's 3 component choral section which allows a wide pitch range and excellent filter/vowel control. So all female or mixed choirs sound great. Polychrome is an awesome addition to my Kontakt instruments. Highly recommended.
Ray.

A general observation: In my experience, Steve's service'n'support is second to none in the business and better than most. In fact, I can't think of anybody taking better care of his customers than Steve.
On top of that, the products are exciting and probably too cheap. What more could you wish for?

If it were easy, anybody could do it!

I totally agree to both of that.Spitfire31 wrote: On top of that, the products are exciting and probably too cheap. What more could you wish for?

This time i had no time doing factory sounds for the Polychrome but i just got a copy from Steve (many thanks for that!!) and have to say i am very much impressed by the sounds which this instrument could produce.
This is exactly the kind of sounds i really love which Steve already told me before he finished this product...
As a conclusion i have to say this is another fantastic product from Synth Magic. It's also remarkable that Steve usually uses synths which are quite or even very rare like e.g. the Farfisa Polychrome or the Logan Vocalist.
I also love the combination of Steve's scripting skills in Kontakt and the GUIs done by Flavour of Lime. Those instruments feel and behave like real synths and not just like a "usual" sample player. The fact that they are based on samples makes them both authentic and less CPU intense.

agree with all of the above to the nth power !
Polychrome, in particular, is one of the most haunting synths (as it DOES behave like a proper synth) i've ever had the pleasure to work upon !!
superb quality overall !!!

I'm still sampling the Casio and doing little bits on the Kontakt side inbetween my other projects.I have lots of instruments in various stages on the go.states wrote:update us !
Will announce it when it is ready.
It does sound good the old 1000p especially if you add longer attacks and release times to the sounds-Quite metalic sounding at times.
Cheers,
Steve

Just been listening to the demos of this. Awesome.
Never heard fo the thing but it sounds beautiful and is perfect for two projects I have coming up. Wish I hadn't missed that intro price, but will pick this up at the weekend (after some money comes through).
Cheers,
Matt
