I wonder if Presonus will offer cash rewards for disproving this.

I personally like this bit:
"I am happy to stake my reputation on that, and I know a lot of other people are happy to as well."
Yes, they are called 'employees'

no, but there is a guy who will charge you 99 bucks to take a test to tell you that that are they same. And if you find a difference, well.......you can't hear it anyways. I spent my 99 bucks on a plug in that sounded fine on any host I use it in.musikmachine wrote:I wonder if Presonus will offer cash rewards for disproving this.

I'm a Studio One user, and I think this blog post is misguided. It's obvious that this guy(I don't know what his position is exactly) is very excited and hasn't done any scientific tests, and he is probably judging by placebo effect, or under the influence of pan law.
Regardless, I don't like these arguments, especially when the person posting it SHOULD know better. Now, Studio One DOES sound BEST. But it does not sound BETTER. Big difference.
It's unfortunate because Studio One has a LOT going for it, and it's a fantastic host that people are jumping to all the time. It's user base is growing and respect within the audio software world is growing. So there is no need to make these types of baseless arguments to try and sell it.

But as other's are saying, maybe it doesn't sound best at all, maybe it is worst because it alters the original sound without consent, I don't know if this is the case but that would be pretty ironic.

Coincidentally, some bozo spammed the reaper forum (including the all win troll poll!) and the Ibanez forums are just chock full o mucho spam.
Coincidence?

Perhaps the vowels had affected my hearing. Stevenson had mentioned this. The consonants would take care of themselves. The owl would come tonight -- of that I was certain -- but I was too excited, too apprehensive. If I did not sleep, the owl would not perch upon my sill.
