As promised, here's the sample pack of timbale samples, released exclusively here for KvR:

More free libraries in the near future, as well as our first commercial library.

Tell me what you think!

(this topic is a duplicate of the one in the Instruments forum, I figured since it concerns both instruments and samples, for once, this would be okay? :))

thanks. dont want to sound ungrateful but, just er, a little confused: these timbales were already available on freesound and youve cut them up into individual hits and processed them slightly? i'd undesrtood from the thread in the instruments forum that it was soemthing new you'd recorded yourself. though its true you probably didnt imply anyhting of the kind, i just assumed. anyway, wouldnt it have been easier just to say "there are some great timbales on freesound which i recommend you go download, here's the link"? or have i missed something?

You are completely correct, I did not record these. However, the original recording, which is from freesound, contained a lot of junk, and it was still quite a lot of work to get them to a decent workable condition. This is mearly a starter release from me, to give something to the community, which I will continue to do, but with my own recordings.

Although the download page does currently acknowledge hello_flowers, as is required by the terms of the Creative Commons license under which the original recordings were published, it would have been nice to give him/her a shoutout in your original post, as well as perhaps including an acknowledgement in the form of a README or txt file in the actual download.
