Now we can really make music.
And virtual cigarette burns on the top of the rack.
I am quite intrigued about the press thing though, while pretending to be totally disinterested...

^^I'd be surprised at that but a hardware front end seems a like a good possibility, although there are controllers like the Panorama and stuff by retouch already...
I am intrigued.

I suppose "Rack Extension" will be Reason's 3rd party plugin format. Devs in the AU/VST market will co-operate with Props: to include a selection of their products as - optional - Reason Rack modules. For an additional fee, of course.
Maybe Urs is one of the first few, who've been contacted by propellerheads?
Hosting vsti is still against the Propellerheads vision, so I think that's clearly out of the question. Maybe these Rack Extensions will also offer some backpanel connectivity we've been seeing on original reason modules.
Anyway, it'll be all clear soon enough... I'm out of any more guesses on this one
EDIT: Oh snap, that's been discussed in previous pages. I'm being Captain Obvious again.

I think Diva would suit the cv control props's modules has. Is it confirmed that Urs has been contacted? Rumors easily becomes "truth" on this forum
Considering the wording (of which i cant remember) it would seem that Props has something BIG going on. Simple vsti hosting somehow or similar doesnt sound as big as it sounds "oh really".
Big would be physical modular midicontroller so you can make hardware versions of your favourite softsynths
Ok, wishful thinking ..
Maybe this whole thing isn't connected to Reason at all. It could be a completely new program with a new way of working. Hopefully Props has been doing their homework and lots of research.
Whatever it is, im sure it's cool

Sorry, hehe, no Diva for Reason planned as of yet.
(I would love to do one though, should it become a possibility)

"Thor 2" is not going to cut it, imo.

Maybe they merged with Ableton. That would give them (ableton) a Reason2Live.

For some reason I don't think the Propellerheads are in the market for producing the biggest anti-climax in computer music making history.davidka wrote:Wow, iPad...
