Tim, I know where you're coming from with the whole block/lack of confidence thing...been there myself, and it's not a nice place to be. I'm glad you've realized you were trying to fix a problem that didn't exist, and I look forward to your new stuff. It's funny, but a side benefit of having more confidence in one's toons is an easing of GAS - I still get sucked in occasionally by a shiny new synth or effect, but...not by every, single, shiny new synth or effect
Well, the next 3 tracks were all written 2 years ago when I wasn't very happy with my music. I'm dreading revisiting two of them in particular, but hopefully can beat them into some kind of shape.
GAS - I just picked up IK T-Racks Deluxe via the group buy, and then splurged on µTonic. I have some ideas for sequenced percussion using a mixture of kits that I started developing about 5 months ago and revisited during the Divide And Conquer remix. I want to try and take this a little further over the next few months.
