Oh yeah, now we're talking. Those extra wave types sounded great. The performance is slightly better than before. And the GUI bug on my ableton live is fixed.
I like this synth, it's very simple and easy to use. It's not complex certainly but it's definitely a replacement for my old sylenth that i've sold before. Used to own Dune for that but Dune is just very different from sylenth.

Cool, Glad your liking it!
We are working on getting more performance.. from early tests weve got the vintage filters CPU usage down another 16% and the 2/4 Poles down a bit more although they wernt that bad to begin with.

Anyone else having problems getting ANA 1.02 to authorize in Logic 64 bit? Authorizes fine in 32 bit mode, but comes up as not authorized in 64 bit and fails AU authorization when attempted. If you got it to work, let me know how you went about the install. Thanks.

Wow I'm glad I waited for the Demo to drop.....ANA lasted about 5 minutes before it crashed my DAW but in that time I got a chance to check out quite a few of the patches. Who compared this to Sylenth? As different as night and day. Ana is cold and harsh and brittle but in such a way that it could live side by side with Sylenth. There were a few nice Trancey patches but overall I wasn't too impressed. I'm sure 5 minutes wasn't long enough to get a real idea of Ana but at this point I don't have any desire to fire it back up and risk another Ctrl Alt Delete marathon........

Just demo'd ANA, liking it so far. Very simple yet fun to tweak i think. Liking the kickdrums presets too

It is bright, but I didn't find the supersaw harsh at all really, at least not compared to all the others I've heard and I've owned a Roland. Yes, it's thin, but not even in a bad way. I think it will layer nicely with some warmer synths and I'm seriously thinking of getting it.

I compare it to sylenth due to the gui likeness. I like sylenth gui and when i sell it i buy dune which i thought looks close enough to sylenth. In term of sound nothing can replace sylenth for me. It's just that i feel sad about the lag of development from lennar that i decided to sell it.Teksonik wrote:Wow I'm glad I waited for the Demo to drop.....ANA lasted about 5 minutes before it crashed my DAW but in that time I got a chance to check out quite a few of the patches. I'm a sucker for simple gui, which is also the reason why i will never get zebra since i cannot make my eyes to like the gui despite it's sound were great.

That's crazy. You sold a synth you love so much because of it's lack of development? What exactly needed developed? Certainly not the sound since nothing could replace it for you.........xamido wrote:In term of sound nothing can replace sylenth for me. Some of the patches were harsh to the point of being painful........but like I said only 5 minutes is hardly enough time to give it a fair go.....A.M. Since I own so many other synths a new plugin must either do something my others don't or do something much better than the ones I already own. In my brief test ANA did neither.......but I might brave another crash and give it a fair try......

I have checked the plugin and i must say, it sounds quite nice, tho overal plugin thought will be a bit bigger
But in the end didnt used it much when i saw the CPU usage.
It took 36 percent of my Q9400 2.6ghz quad core cpu playing a melody alone, thats just insane!:)

We have some optimization coming in the next build... the Vintage filters are using more CPU than we would like.
