Seems completely Reasonable.

I'm actually replying to sneak in a slightly OT question - someone posted a video with a 'green box' and the fine-tune control for a Faderfox box. Looked pretty awesome! Is that part of u-he MIDI stuff that'll be generally available to controllers?

Something is off. :?
Huh? Why? Uhbik RE 10-13 bucks a pop in one host, Uhbik VST/AU 15-16 bucks a pop in many hosts.

Only, Uhbik VST/AU comes as a bundle because we couldn't possibly deal with a gazillion license schemes - or I wouldn't have time to do any other things.

I think it's very fair. If we ever unbundled Uhbik on VST/AU we'd go 30-50 bucks each, and offer an all-of-them-if-you-have-5-or-so crossgrade, which then pretty much reaches the same price as we have today.

;) Urs
No, I was projecting on Synths that, with speculations, could cost so much less than the VST format. But true, we don't really know what it will be in terms of prices.
Ah... ok.

No, we haven't thought about pricing for synths. Because as of now, even the port of our synths is pure speculation. I'd estimate ACE or Diva to cost pretty much the same in RE as in AU/VST. Dunno. From the Zebra side we've brought up the idea of doing Zebrify composed out of independent REs. Dunno yet if that's feasable.

Anyhow. We want to start with Uhbik because it's easy to do and we want to learn the platform inside out before we do more complex stuff.

A green box? You mean the Faderfox UH3 prototype we're showing? - Check out the sonic state or music radar coverage ;)

If you put out the sequencer from Bazille in RE format, I'd be pretty stoked.

Might be viable. I have no idea if it'll be able to patch back into itself though.

We're just starting this, but there's already an explosion of ideas.

We'll see where it leads us :)

I'm glad to hear you are enthusiastic. I hope your enthusiasm is infectious 'cause I think this has the potential to be pretty cool. I'm easy to convince though. :hihi:

Since I haven't heard from my boss since Tuesday... how is the show going? Seems like you guys are getting a lot of attention. :)

Just in case that some have missed it: http://www.musicradar.com/news/tech/mus ... nth-535960
Really, really nice imo! :)

Sorry for the OT!

Cheers

CV feedback is possible with the Spider CV module but it can get "weird" if you know what I mean. Not everybody wants the kind of unpredictable results, that I look for.

I think there should be a new CV module called a RE Uhbiks cube. It doesn't have to actually do anything new, but it should always take a long time to figure out how things line up.

What do you mean 're-done?' It appears to be currently the same size as it was in Reason v1???

If you mean they converted from raster to vector, then great. There would now be no reason NOT to have the ability to step increase the size in the preferences. Whats stopping them?
You said Reason's UI has not been updated in 12+ years. And I was just correcting you. Record 1.0 and above used a new UI. In Reason 1.0 up to 4.0 the rack was fixed width and vertical. The rack is now horizontal and with scalable width. And apart from legacy instruments the UI was completely redone with alot of enhancements.

It should be an asynchronous random generator so things never line up.

Well that makes me feel I can maybe wait for Reason 7 before considering to get Essentials :) It sure is all very interesting to watch unfold.
If you have requests for Korg VST features or changes, they are listening at https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us/requests/new

Maybe The PH will lower the price for Reason in order to get more user and profit back from the Re business. It's a possibility.

So, there's Reason, Logic, Numerology, but where's the CV-signal generator that's entirely based on number theory proofs  The manual would be awesome.

How do you scale the rack size? It takes up half my screen width; it's tiny. I see no changes with which I, and many others in this very thread, have suggested they make.

Now, if you can show me how to increase the size of the rack (and thus all the generators on it) then I'll retract my suggestion. Please show me.
