I love to mix melody with noise. I like the contrast. This is no different, except I kept them separate

Lovely stuff. The combination of melodic elements with the dissonant sections works very well here, and the track has an edginess that sustains interest throughout, without detracting from what was essentially a pleasant track.

Cheers.. I did wonder about the interest given there are few elements (and the most active one is actually quite low in the mix). It's a bit of a balance to work out where enough is enough.. I can usually only tell for sure when I go back 6 months later

Some nice pad sounds....a few sounds reminded me of the TD 'phaedra' lp.
The rhythm worked, but maybe a little too repetitious...needing an accent here and there to break it up....or maybe mute a drum for a number of bars.
The scratchy sound I thought didn't fit and was distracting.
All and all a good effort, I enjoyed it.

Cheers Annode. My last thought before posting was whether to do more with the percussion, guess I should go with my gut. Cheers for listening and commenting, it is much appreciated.

ps never listened much to TD although I did listen to some stuff by Klaus Schulze, but I had a quick listen to that track and it was very interesting, thanks. I'll find time to listen properly.
