PS: I'm running in VSTHost and it doesn't have a VU meter AFAIK
You're speaking of polyphony, I'm speaking of output channels.
Check this preset: http://www.box.com/s/a2a7351959f0fa7c4ff1 (Sorry for the Box.com link, I don't have access to my webspace at the moment).

It's my Tyrell (version 1) init preset (I guess it will work with version 2 too, haven't had the time to try the new version yet ).

I edited the preset with a text editor to make the output panning available as a destination in the mod matrix :)

Would this be the randomizer.

Post

I was actually thinking about making a FR for Diva where you could specify what parameters could be randomized by a defined percentage, kind of a controlled randomization. This looks like it is doing something like that.

Nope - Its a Meta X/Y Pad, up to 4 params per axis.

Please bless us with the extended edition! :D

Something else bothers me :

There are a lot of good presets in Tyrell.
Thare are a lot of presets that are not (for me)

Can there be some "favorite" mechanism, to store one's favorite presets ?

Thanks
Click on 'Patch' and then in the patch browser, right click and you will see 'mark favourite' and 'mark as junk' and the 'show junk' is there in case you need to see the junk again. Favorites will get a gold star, junk will be invisible unless you choose to see it. Also, you can create a directory with your favorite patches and just save off copies there, I usually tweak everything a little anyhow so save my variations there.

Especially with the old presets that don't have chorus enabled, you probably want to tweak and save them anyhow. Just save to your own favorites folder.
Hey... thanks, I didn't know that, too....

I love the patch browser system in u-he synths :) Only thing missing is a search feature, and some way to catagorize the sounds (It would be really cool to right-click and select from a list if it is a pad, lead, etc. then have a bank that is auto-populated with your marked pads, leads, etc. But I digress...)

Usually the U-he synths comes with a very good categorization and patch browser system. Presets are organized in neat folders which you can see in the browser and select.

They come is simple folders, categorized by hand, not by meta data, I'm not dying for this, it would just be nice, so you can mark a preset to be a bass sound and no matter what folder it is if you select the bass category you'll see it. Not a huge deal and u-he's current system is way better than most. I'm just saying, feature request, that's all.

I agree meta data would be nice, it will eliminate the folder org entirely.

I'd like both actually, keep what is there just make a special section that displays your meta tags. Like right now essentially there are two tags, favorite and junk, just make it so there are 'folders' that display these when clicked, and add a few more tags. And a search system. But then again, maybe there are much better things to take up Urs' time :) this isn't a huge priority, just 'nice to have.'
