Yeah, I want it!

I have a question...124 dollars for the bag? 1,900 hundred for the amp and they can't throw in the bag?
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

$1,900? That's pocket change for amp modeling. If you really want to part with some cash you need a DumbBell Overprice Special.

Ouch, I didn't see that.

Its a shit looking bag, Like something a woman would carry around when She has had a baby and needs all the stuff for any trips out with the nipper (breast pump, napies, wipes, talc, steralizing stuff, fifty babygrows...etc) or some sort of cooling box that keeps the beers and picnic chilled.

I would be rather quite offended to recieve that bag with such a great bit of gear

@Kemper - Sort it out, That bag is...gay!

I believe that this amp is a game changer...

It transfers a large chunk of cash from your bank account to the Kempler camp..

In return, you get a few electronic parts,a DSP code and a pretty case...

If you want the bag that's an extra 15% or so...

Now I'd say that the're winning the game at that point

I know one or two things about amp design and construction...

After checking out the de-gooped schematics and looking inside an OD Special, I'd say that the the name really is the Dumbo Overpriced Special

I've never really understood the hype regarding the Dumbo amps...

The're solid - based on a good ol' Leo Fender design...

But it's not rocket science....

Of course,in a free market economy,if someone wants to pay $60k for that collection of electronic parts and hardware - that is their right

It's certainly helps to keep the wheels on Alexander's motocycles turning...

Is it just me, or an artefact of the recording and compression of an MP3?

This is a vid that popped up after I watched the one that Dean posted -- which was pretty awesome.

Without getting into that whole tubes vs. digital thing, it sounded to me as if the profile was softening the attack transients consistently, most noticeably in the heavier patches. Not having a mic in the chain in front of cones pushing a shockwave, maybe?

Bit of a dull sound to begin with but reason im excited is because its andertons and andertons are in england :hyper: so trying one is getting more realistic :)

I know/hear what you mean but I would put that down to hopefully the audio quality, If you have a read of the 'your next amp' thread, UncleE/Eric mentions the dynamics being rather maulable in a really good way mate :)

I would love to be able to give my own humble honest opinion though but can not say yet...I really can not wait to try one though

Cheers and all the best man

Same but its just rather not 'if' but 'when?' thats all :D and the evil grin for you :troll: The built-in gate and tubescreamer seem/sound really good which are two important things for me personally, You know with all teh high-gain foolery I get upto.

Yeah it is a long video but at least it shows that its not total rocket science/black magic to profile something and pretty much all the pros and cons are brought up from a player's perspective and whatnot. So it might save a big heated debate, As in "hey just watch that dead long video and if you got any other stuff to debate then bugger off and don't be soooo anal!" = It won't happen though and que heated debates :hihi: it is KontastlyVirtualyARgue after all 8)

Tomorrow's obsolete junk. A quality tube amp, on the other hand, will last a lifetime with some care.
