Does anyone know if a Giga version of GPO is planned?

Considering the player was chosen for copy protection purposes, AND his other lib is in Giga, I doubt it.

The Kontakt Player was not chosen for copy protection. It was chosen because it had the features we needed for what we wanted to do and because it was available.

GPO was originally recorded with Giga 3.0 in mind. We needed more features and expected Giga 3.0 long ago. Giga 3 is still not available. We may still support Giga 3 as we only used a very small fraction of the material we recorded.

I remember the early days of Giga were a little bumpy as well and the problems were resolved. The NI samplers have vastly improved in the recent updates. Most are having great success and no problems. They are both great platforms.

My appologies Gary, I thought you were one of the supporters of the copy protection issue that ran in vast quantities over on NS forums. Guess that's what I get for actually listening to what people say over there sometimes.

Forgot Giga will be a Rewire client.

I forgot about that. I've never used rewire, is it reliable? I know the Reason guys use it with Cubase all the time.

Later this month is my understanding.
