Valhalla Ubermod and Audimulch on Win7. Preset name not recalled via Audiomulch preset manager

I am very happy about my Ubermod.
I am using it with Audiomulch as Vst host.
I find using its preset manager very convenient but I have found that it recalls just the values of Ubermod parameters and not the preset they are referred to.
I use Audiomulch preset manager with many different plugs like Psp, 2CAudio, Uhbiks and they all present their internal preset name ( and their parameters values, of course) when recalled via Audiomulch.
Why isn't Ubermod doing this ?
Is there a turnaround ?
thanks,
Luca

Other plugins are probably using the VST preset format, instead of the cross-platform preset format I am using.unguitar wrote:I am very happy about my Ubermod.

So are you saying that your "cross-platform preset format" doesn't support recalling VST program names and numbers when you recall your presets?
Cheers,
Ross.

A more verbose answer (I accidentally cut off a fingertip a few weeks ago, so typing is slow as it grows back):
The cross-platform preset mechanism in ValhallaUberMod (and ValhallaRoom) exists in parallel with whatever preset mechanisms are built into the plugin format (i.e. VST, AU). So people can use VST presets, in parallel with (or as opposed to) the cross platform format I am using.
It is possible that I could implement the setProgram(), getProgramName(), and other functions from the VST SDK and use them with my existing .vpreset format, but this incurs the risk of breaking projects for people that have created presets in the .fxb/.fxp format for ValhallaÜberMod. I'll look into this further, but I suspect that I will need to keep things the way they are, in order to retain compatibility with the largest number of users.

So, is there a bridge or some workaround to make it recall presets' names and numbers ?
