you know i hate all this automatic scrolling, like i got for example 30 user libraries, open the folder then it expands and shows all 30 libs, then i click one lib and it has 2 folders then it minimizes and i have to scroll up again and click on a folder with double click. it's annoying, scrolling through kontakt 4 sucks my nerves lol yeah it might be minor but is not well for the workflow, do you have any tips?

Why don't you use the file browser (Files tab) instead of the Library tab?

One problem with QL is that it doesn't update if you save any new NKIs in the library folders. So in most cases I end up using the Browser and that's it.

I know....

It's damned annoying.

What I prefer to do is have four burly men wheel in a grand piano, then hire someone to come in and tune it, then have people mic it up before it can be played.

And for an orchestral session, hire 40 or 50 (maybe more) classically trained players, have them come in, tune up, mic them up, have a quick run through.

Did a session not so long ago that was a bitch - had to get the piano movers to drag the Hammond C3 up from the basement and then the Leslie, mic all that up, etc..

Christ - all this really upsets my workflow.

Come on - get a grip!

And sorry - I'm just feeling bit facetious but with all that's on offer now (a lot of it for free or next to nothing), you're whinging about having to browse a few folders? Dear me.

;)

Cheers,

Stephen

yes cause at this age of technology it's not understandable to have such minor clunkiness...and also if it's also THE or ONE of the best out there.

dont compare apples with eggs or whatever it is in english, i know to get a full orchester is much harder and time consuming, but thats just BS you wrote there, sorry no offense i like your products :P.

I have long wished that NI would give Kontakt a browser similar to KORE. Or even absynth, both of those are faster at finding what you want. But since Kontakt can load sampled that makes it harder since those home grown or found or even bought samples only aren't made with just Kontakt in mind.
