I don't understand, you seem to be able to play/make only 1 pattern and not even save it?!
It seems to be more toy than toy even if that's the case.
I really like the layout etc but I'd like to save whatever I do or at least sling a couple of patterns together or even export an audio loop . Hmm it just doesn't figure ;)
If you like spending your time endlessly working on that 2 bar loop you'll love it haha
The manual isn't online yet which doesn't help.. Tho I'm sure there's no more to it than is first obvious.. They do describe it as a time filler on trips tho I guess..

Omg, it's worse than I thought :(

Post

I'll reserve judgement till I've played with it a bit..

Well...
Hmm...
So when do they finish Figure? It honestly feels like a beta release finalizing a few key features. It is missing some very key features that should be in there. You cant save nor even copy what you have made. Maybe they are working on that feature? For a buck, you at least get to see what they think an iOS app should like.
It's kinda cool
With a buck if you are not expecting much
Hopefully they don't plan on doing a ton of in app purchases to get more functionality? I do wonder though......

If you watch the demo video again, everything they show is exactly what you get and no more.

Available in Switzerland, downloading it.

Let's all give a dollar to Prop so they can devellop a better App.
Let say a 5 or 10 dollars one!

Post

Well someone here gave it 5stars and said 'yay, reason on my phone!!'
I must be missing 95% of the app.. Is there a hidden button somewhere?

Post

Must be one of the devs...

So I tried the App a bit (I'm at work :D ) and it's not just quiet limited, it becomes useless if you plan to use your creations with other Apps or PC DAWs cause there really is NO WAY to export whatever out of this joke/App...

Hopefully they'll use my Dollar to invest in a real Devs Team for iOS...

After playing with it a bit (on the bus;) ) there's actually quite a bit you can do with the little that is there.. It's quite well designed I must say.. For a jam tool it's pretty darn good actually.. I might have to go give it an extra star now :)

I'll have to see if I still feel the same way after another 15 mins with it tho ;)
Maybe hooked up to the korg kaos pad...hmm

It's pretty useless at the moment until they add some functionality to it. It's the only iOS audio app I've bought that does not integrate in any way at all with other stuff. Buy it now for a $1 in case they increase the price and update it or don't bother really.

Propellerhead's said that it was done just to get the app out there and they have ideas for future updates (I heard this in a messe YouTube vid). I am a bit annoyed that you can't save you patterns.

Erm.. is it iPhone only? Or am I missing smth?

Post

they MUST update it, ASAP. Because it doesn't offer more than, let say iKaossilator.
It's actually almost the same App, without export fonction, make your choice...

It's iPhone only but it's supposed to be ok on iPad hitting the button to enlarge it. It was demonstrated on an iPad at Messe using those settings.

well ikaossilator is about $20 here so at least it's cheap!
i mean $1.... you cant complain about the price at least ;)

Yes, you are right. Pricing is ok.

But I'm tired of all these 1$ Apps ending in trash after a couple of weeks.
I'd rather pay 10 or 20$ for a solid App.
I'm tired of all these "Toys".

Ok I don't have to buy them, but it's quiet disturbing to see good devs waisting time and money develloping "toys".

Ok they'll make a million profit, but for us, musicians, it's just boring...
