112db - no updates?

This is getting quite frustrating. After dj tragically passed away there has not been any clear info as to what will happen to the company and what customers should expect.
I own quite a few licenses and would really like to know if there's any hope for a 64 bit update so I can use them in StudioOne or a certain future DAW.
I'm also in love with the Morgana instrument, but since it's still riddled with bugs I find it hard to justify spending 170 bucks!
IMO I really think their should at least slash the pricing considering their current situation. 170 bucks is pretty pricey these days.
112db have some truly excellent and unique plugins, so I really don't get why they would not manage to find a new owner or collaborate with another developer.
Same goes for Ohm Force, which has mysteriously vanished from the face of the earth. Their last news feed was 2 years ago, and still nobody seem to talk about it.

They are still working on OhmStudio. The last beta was released some weeks ago iirc.fceramic wrote:Same goes for Ohm Force, which has mysteriously vanished from the face of the earth. Their last news feed was 2 years ago, and still nobody seem to talk about it.

That's good to hear.
Just noticed that 112db actually released another plugin out of the blue. Big blue compressor even has an introduction offer that was supposed to end August 2010 and is still on. There's also zero info about it outside of their website. Not one single post in either KVR or Gearslutz, no reviews or blog newsfeeds. Really sad stuff.

Don't worry, it will be announced tomorrow. Had no idea people would pick up on this this so fast. We're just testing if everything goes well with the ordering process.

I just got a mail today about beta testing the 64-bit version of Frohmage. They asked for tester on their Facebook page and I applied. Hope that's a sign of them putting out all their plugins in a 64-bit version soon.fceramic wrote:Same goes for Ohm Force, which has mysteriously vanished from the face of the earth. I am really curious and anxious at the same time - i want to know what will happen with amazing 112db Morgana sampler? It has some serious bugs which i posted and they confirmed. Still it is amazing sampler imho.

Small, tried the demo out of curiousity, not worth the pricetag IMO! you could use another sampler and maybe something like D16's decimort to degrade the sound, it's worth between $50-75. I'm sure they'd sell alot more at that price. It does not include an emulated Mirage type library neither. Just my opinion.Numanoid wrote:How big is the library?sinkmusic wrote:Yes.

My thinking too, that this machine is way over priced in today's market.breakmixer wrote:Small, tried the demo out of curiousity, not worth the pricetag IMO! you could use another sampler and maybe something like D16's decimort to degrade the sound, it's worth between $50-75. Redline Reverb is quite an amazing velvet reverber though!
I also use ValhallaRoom, which I truly love. But still, there's something I can't explain in the Redline Reverb sound that keeps me coming back to it all the time. I just decided to combine and use both, that's the only way to go for me
