Dear members,

i've been thinking about it for the last month. Everybody familiair with FL studio knows it has a great Sampler plugin built-in. It would be great if we could get a similar alternative for other DAWs. The sampler in FL is so easy to use, you just drag a sample on it and the sample 'spreads across the keyboard', so you can play the sound in different pitches across your keyboard. You have all sorts of drum plugins like; battery, EXS24 & Ultrabeat (in logic) but they all take too much time to set up a drum kit. Before i've made my drum kit, i've lost my inspiration.

I almost can't believe there isn't some sort of plugin, really nothing high demanding, just a simple plugin where you can drag ONE sound and thats it, that's all i'm asking for :)

Thanks in advance!

If you like I have an old version of UVI Workstation v1.1.7 that I can send you a link for. It's kind of like the regular UVI workstation, but you can load samples AND edit them. 32 & 64 bit (I only have Windows version though). You won't be able to use any of the current UVI soundbanks, however, but for what you want it for it's ideal. Not only wavs, but it can also import rex files as well. You can slice & stretch files as well. It's also multitimbral with 17 outputs with lots of effects. No host automation, but you can assign MIDI Controls. It also installs PACE on your system as well. It's just an old discontinued version of their free sampler. When I don't wanna think and work exactly how you describe, this is what I go for.

EDIT: Im sory. it looks like you said you'e only on Mac :-( Sorry about that

(btw I really hate that UVI got rid of the editing functions when you drop in wave files in their 2.X versions. It's so handy)
