Samplitude: Best sounding Daw?

A-ha....a few years ago - when there were no other DAWs. Well, we're into the 2nd decade of the 21st century where technology and the internet myth-informers have marched on. In case you missed it, we determined through extensive blind-faith testing just last week that Studio One is the best sounding DAW. These results were backed up by hours of extensive pontificating.

In an unrelated, unscientific poll it was determined that Reaper is the most efficient DAW, but only in the blindsided testing.

Finally, after fastidious research and gut-wrenching conclusion-jumping, the experts over at the pseudo-science lab determined that Dm really is the saddest chord of all.

If that don't sum it all up I have absolutely no idea what will.

Then Apple came along and bought up Emagic. The rest is history.

for the record:

PT, live, sonar, and cubase are among those that have made the claim of better/warm/mostawsomest sounding. Nuendo is 20-40% better (well, that was the sound engine )

I think they take turns saying it, they if they say it enough people will believe it and they can bill their host as better sounding and all those marketing doors opens. Look for some new catch phrase term that explains the bogus claims, something like reckedhimsillyortion and to resolve it "de reckedhim technology™"

I don't see a problem here - if, say, ten DAWs have been tested in the blind test and 10.1% chose Samplitude as the best sounding DAW, and all other DAWS got 9.99%, then technically Samplitude won the blind test, right?

In the end statistics is all about creative interpretation
