Moving audio between apps?

Hi
I'm trying to construct a song in Beatmaker 2 alongside some external iOS synths. One of these synths is SoundPrism pro which has this feature called AudioCopy. Beatmaker 2 has an import function called AudioPaste. However the 2 appear to be incompatiable; copying in Soundprism does not paste into Beatmaker2.
Soundprism claims:
"
SoundPrism Pro users also have the option to use Sonoma Wireworks' AudioCopy to use recorded tracks in other iOS applications like the amazing NanoStudio on the same device "
Sonomas Wireworks claims:
"Apps that support AudioCopy 1.1 or later now include support for Apple's General Pasteboard (which means BeatMaker integration)."
BeatMaker 2 claims:
"You can share your audio files with other applications installed on your iPhone/iPod/iPad that support
the global audio pasteboard feature. For a list of compatible applications, please visit the following
website: http://code.google.com/p/intua-audio-sh ... atibleApps"
and in that link i see a list of apps including Sonomas Wireworks products but not soundprism.
So i'm confused, is my software buggy?

update:
I tested out another app here. Its a free recording app
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/report-i ... 91752?mt=8
it was able to paste into BeatMaker 2. Strangely Beatmaker 2 isnt listed under the compatiable export list but i was able to paste the recording from inside beatmaker 2. Is this because BM2 uses a basic implimentation of AudioCopy?
Anyway this leads me to belive that SoundPrism 2 is buggy becuase it can't paste into BeatMaker at all and it isnt listed on Sonoma WireWorks so maybe they use some unsupported version on AudioCopy?

update:
I was trying out a free copy of Nanostudio, it not only was able to import audio from SoundPrism but also the free recording app and BeatMaker 2. Nanostudio by far seems to have the best support from AudioCopy.
To conclude
SoundPrism Pro > BeatMaker 2 - FAIL
SoundPrism Pro > NanoStudio - PASS
Report IT > BeatMaker 2 - PASS
Report IT > NanoStudio - PASS
BeatMaker 2 > NanoStudio PASS
BeatMaker 2 > Report IT PASS
NanoStudio > BeatMaker 2 PASS
NanoStudio > Report IT PASS
SP uses a some form of AudioCopy that isnt compatiable with BM2 which uses the generic Pasteboard implimentation.
Kind of annoyed as BM2 and SP are my first 2 music making apps i've purchased.

Hmmm.. what's 'nanostudio free'? I mean, isn't the freeware version PC/Mac only?phatriff wrote: if i use nanostudio (free)

you're right, the version of nanostudio on my phone isnt free, i actually bought it back in August, completely forgot i paid for it. Its because evrytime i open the app it asks me to pay to upgrade for more channels so over time i started to assume i never paid for it. hmm wonder if that psychology is common....Jazz Franco wrote:Hmmm.. what's 'nanostudio free'?
