yeah, too bad Divine Machine couldn't keep it up. I thought it was unique and had great sound possibilities, but it was never quite stable for me.

Hopekiller?
Oh, there isn't one. Pessimist-agnostics only use hardware instruments.

Sad that this synth has faded into oblivion.

Hopefully the developer will consider releasing it into the public domain...

Maybe because people would ask for support? Nowadays, people will complain if it doesn't work even if the software is totally free.

Post

But Ravity was resurrected last year, and they even warned about not being able to offer support, but still users bought it.

As long as users are told up front that there will be no support, that should suffice

isn't this one of steve duda's early works?

Post

Indeed:
Duda has also been the mastermind behind several award-winning music software titles. Most successful is the BFD Virtual Acoustic Drum Module. He is also half of the independent international software development team known as Devine-Machine, whom together have created numerous award winning virtual instruments (Devine-Machine, Lucifer, GURU).
So Krishna is sort of a FXpansion plug in disguise?

Edit: Not to mention a Xfer Records plug in disguise, didn't realise that ol' Steve is the head honcho of that firm

from what i gathered from him talking in interviews, i think his involvement with fxpansion was "only" creating some drumkits for bfd, while with devine machine he did his first steps in coding...

edit: one of his more recent appearances, with him going pretty in depth on his history in the biz.

Back in 2009/2010, $199 for a synth would've been too much. Still, I'd never heard of Krishna. Was Richard Devine involved in it?
If you can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with bullshit.

Hindus should try Dimitry Sches Tantra (FX).

The synthesizer for each religion:
  • Judaism - Messiah
  • Christianity - Diva (I guess, idk)
  • Islam - Prophet V
  • Buddhism - Omnisphere (has the Delay Lama filter!)
  • Taoism - Razor
  • Atheism - Generate
  • Neopaganism - Odin (and Thor if you have Reason)
  • Satanism - Lil' Devil (from Walsh's Synthesizer Cookbook)

You know, the reason why I necro'd this thread was because, all those years I SHOULD have been making music, I was running the streets, and homeless, doing things I shouldn't be doing. I guess I'm making up for lost time, hence my intermittent references to Alchemy, HG Fortune, VirSyn, SimSynth, Krishna, etc.
