Where exactly did this get said ? Maybe you'd be so kind as to point it out, i'm sure you have it referenced.Urs wrote:just a reminder, in case you forgot what actually made clear that the whole burp is directed against us:LeVzi wrote:Right, and that's directly mentioning other dev's or products how exactly ?
I think you read too much into it, and took a lot out of context. Nothing was mentioned directly. Seems people are a bit over sensitive about things.
I have faith that the marketing burp is defused soon, as I think was agreed.Markus from Tone2.com wrote:we use a new and completely different approach than competing companies (like U-he) did. Why would you say something like that?MaxSynths wrote:@Urs: maybe now it's time to leave??
EDIT: Please. Pretty please?
It's an open "instruments" forum.
Not the no more existing at kvr "Tone2" forum.
No one should be made to leave, unless they broke a kvr rule, which isn't the case here.
Just saying...but I'll get my coat then.

This is true, so it's more important that we have a usable and not too restricted demo version.LeVzi wrote:It was never relavent really was it ? I mean you can read advertising, see pretty pictures, but where the sonic capabilities are the main reason you'd even consider this, then you judge with your ears correct ?
I mean what fool buys a musical instrument without hearing it first.
But this negative advertising was relevant because it's not a good idea to say bad things about the competitors product and make a offering that he can buy a license of the better code. This goes in the wrong direction.
Most of us (IMO!) are interested for good sounding analog synth besides Diva but a bit more CPU friendly

You must be kidding me. It's in this thread.
This post has made me defend our technology against unfair marketing. Now don't confuse defender and aggressor please.

No worries, I stay away as long as no-one affiliated to Tone2 restarts the debate again, with some sort of "oh... no, it didn't happen, it wasn't there, we haven't meant it that way"MaxSynths wrote:@Urs: maybe now it's time to leave??

Because Urs is really crossing the line in a thread about a new product by a competitor. His habit to hijack other developers threads is really unfair and disgusting.mcnoone wrote:Why would you say something like that?MaxSynths wrote:@Urs: maybe now it's time to leave??

Sorry, I got invited. I'm not hijacking it at all. I'm only reacting against false statements.MaxSynths wrote:Because Urs is really crossing the line in a thread about a new product by a competitor. Btw. you make it sound like I often do that. Can you point out other occasions?

I come to this thread and there is no explanation on how to enter the contest. Even though it's over, i'd still like to know why people won these prizes...

Ok, is everything solved now? Do you have something new to add again and again?Urs wrote:Sorry, I got invited. I'm not hijacking it at all. I'm only reacting against false statements.
It's a bit strange, and professionaly unfair, that everytime a new product by someone else is released you and your henchmen find a reason to jump into the thread and hijack it with the aim to adverstise your products...
This is something that I always found irritating about you man! And you know what Urs? I wonder if you really need to do it!
