Congratulations on what sounds like a great package of chords for my fave style of house :)

I was actually asked by several people if I would do a sample-pack follow-up to my Deep House Chords soundset for Zebra, but I think I'll have to rethink that concept before giving you some competition ;) Best wishes with the sales!

Cheers!

Don't consider, do it! ;) You got a much wider audience with samples than releasing soundsets for only one synth.

Nice,I think you will post these packs advices on Nanostudio forum http://forums.blipinteractive.co.uk/
and in Intua (Beatmaker) forum http://www.intua.net/forums/
These kind of stuff maybe useful for these small MPC style apps
12 years old PC running :Reaper;Reason;Dune;Zampler;Kontakr;Reaktor;and many others countless vst :D

Bought.Very good sounds.
They have a very strong presence and stab their way through a mix very nicley.
I have Tyrell and it is a good synth IMO and I have used it in Ableton Live to good effect but I have to be honest here, I do prefer your samples for these type of sounds. They just have more bite to them and it is a lot quicker to get the sounds that work-for me anyway.

these sounds are really amazing! the only problem I have with "one shot" samples is that it sounds a bit too "linear" for me... I can't really play notes without having them "tuned" which is not a good thing and I can't really work on the sound itself to make it evolving...

if you guys have any tips or way to change that, let me know! I'll buy the pack if I am not "stuck" to the original sounds...

@Technolover:

Of course the samples are static and "boring" in their way but you can:

- add filter/pitch/volume envelopes to the samples
- use classic effects like reverb, delay, chorus, bitcrusher etc.
- add automation/modulation

The possibilities are endless to keep your "sample melody" interesting and envolving.

I think I am gonna buy it :) a great work deserves some support!

btw, did you ever plan to release Kontakt libraries with some similar sounds? would be a good way to haven't this pitch problem :)

No, because most users want to play with those "pitch problem samples" and not with "perfect multisamples" ;)

I guess I am not the only one finding your answers a bit weird...

"people prefer one shot samples than VST presets"
"people prefer one shot samples than multi-samples banks"

Imo, these "people" you are talking about look like beginners who don't wanna spend time to learn how to build their own sound... The kind of people who produce their tracks only using drum loops instead of making some original drum patterns :D

I'll buy 'em anyway (because they sound really great and I agree with Synthmagic, I can't get this sound with Tyrell) but when it comes to real deep/soulful sounds, having a lot of control on the sounds to kill some kind of linearity is really important... I also like to make chord progressions which is a bit harder with one shot samples...

but that's my own opinion, my 2 cents, no offense at all... as I told you, I really love the work you did and I'll buy them. I simply didn't agree with your way of defending your work !

congratulations for the good work

No i'm not talking about beginners - i'm talking about pros (!) who want that old school feeling when playing with chord samples.

For you the "pitching" is a problem - for other guys it's a desired effect. The samples go shorter on higher notes and the sound is more unnatural.

Of course one shot samples don't replace plugins and multisamples, but for such old school sounds it's the best choice.

Okay thank you for making it clear :)

I'll order it on friday or saturday, can't wait to get on it :)

Just bought these yesterday but only downloaded them today. Sounds nice so far.

Quick question, are all the samples played using the same chord? If so what chord is it?
