This is a really great and versatile effect. :tu:

Cheers,
Gerald

 ooopps... no, not at all.
The link in the download section wasn't updated but the link from the product page was ok. Sorry for that.
Fixed now!

glad you like the plug.
I'll consider your suggestions for further updates.
Which parameters cause the noise? That shouldn't happen on knobs and sliders.
On/Off buttons or routing menues can generate short clicks if they force a recompiling of the code.
Hi, I've been using the update and the problem doesn't seem to happen any longer. I think it was only while I was using the demo anyway. I really like the new presets. Great work!

No, you don't need to login. Just download it from here:
http://www.stw-audio.com/products/reflex-pro-v2/

There're some notes about the installation in the "read me before install" which comes with the installer.

FYI: There seems to be a bug showing up occasionally when RP2 is used in a 64bit host (in this case Cubase) which leads to a distortrd noise when the rotation parameter is reaching the 100% limit. I'm working on a solution for this and might have found it already.
I'll do some more testing and will release a fix soon.

i like this pretty much. one sugestion: lfo sync to song position.

+ 1

The flexible lfos are a big + of RP2.

@stw:
Thank you for your support on my Cubase prob.

hmm... :( not quite sure what you mean. Isn't that what it actually does when the trigger is set to a song related event (bar,2bar,1/4Note) and the running speed synced to a note length?

[some minutes later...]
Tracing the sync thingy i found a mistake in the manual concerning that topic (maybe that's misleading). The manual states you have to right click in the rate unit display to change tempo sync settings but actaully you have to do a left click!
Have to correct that...
My bad

@pocvecem: The "jbridged" fix is working with Cubase6.5 64bit flawless here for some time now. I guess i'll release it very soon.

That's very good news. But take your time. No hassle please.

REFLEX PRO is updated to V2.1r1 and ready for download.
It adresses the described 64bit rotation noise bug.
Get it from here:
http://www.stw-audio.com/products/reflex-pro-v2/

And a word from the developer...
Though REFLEX PRO V2 runs fine with my testing environment in 64bit hosts using "jbridge", i strongly recommend to do intese testing with your own DAW yourself before buying the PlugIn if you're going to use it with a 64bit host!

no. lfo sync to song position is not like that. its kind of complicated to explain it. but ie : if i play a song from half of the bar the lfo will start at half of the full cycle...you can check how it works in ni massive...or z3ta+2...dcam synth squad...or any fabfilter plug (in the latest versions)

regarding your lfo: when i choose trigger = 2 bars, some times it doesnt restart when i press play on my vst host (renoise). but it always restarts in 1 bar mode.

also, 2 bar triggers is not enough. if i set the lfo to the slowest speed i cant get a full cycle with 2 bar triggers. 16 or 32 would be ideal to make very slow filter modulations.

ok, i see what you mean. The difference here is that RPs LFO is just retriggerd at the bar start position but runs in sync afterwards while full sync would force the LFO phase permanently.
Yes i think it'd be a good idea to implement that in future updates though it would mean some reorganization of the code. I'll give it a try.

I tested it with different hosts including renoise but can't confirm any trigger misses. Works 100% stable for me. Maybe you can send me an example project?
One idea: Is the play mode set to "1 shot"? That would mean that the LFO will play a full cycle after triggered once and ignoring new triggers until finished.

The bar triggeres were never ment to cover all possible LFO rates. That would include too many options which would make it more confusing than useful.
However this issue could be solved with song position syncing for most aspects too. So a +1 for that.
A possible solution for now could be to select the 1 shot play mode and a bar trigger to restart it.

I've been using Reflex awhile now and I have to say, even if you do have Camelspace (which I do) and you think this is a clone, I just enjoy how you can totally transform a sound into something other worldly with this. They both have their own distinct vibes. Excellent presets and low CPU make this a must have. I know how hard it is to put effects together and make them work properly, so kudos to the dev.

New version works without any trouble now.

Big thanks for quick bugfixing! :tu:
