@shallow: I actually thought you were joking around about the reaper skin/orion

Reapers rado sand theme goes very nicely with RME's very ugly Total Mix gui.
I like I like.

This thread is like saying:
"This is a very ugly hammer:"

And saying things like that = gay.
Who the flying jeebus cares how it looks if the tool simply works as it should ?
I use the default V4 theme...

RADO VOX satisfied my need for an easy on the eyes theme. Been using it for months and it still feels comfortable and familiar. Granted it doesn't solve the "Windows 95 spreadsheet" problem.

Orion 8.5 @ $250.00
??
Don't think so
Would rather get Studio one v2 or Sonar X1 or put the $$ towards or Samp12
looks very out of date--

"REAPER full commercial license is $225.00 so what's your point?
that's the usual apples versus oranges comparison in order to get another point for REAPER
and you get some cool instruments and effects along with ORION btw"
Not saying it isn't a good DAW and I'm not comparing it to REAPER at all
Why are you jumping to REAPER? I don't think I even used REAPER as an alternative. Personally I don't use Reaper.
Tried it but just seems clunky to me.
Apples and oranges? There was no implicit comparison in my comment, nor did I point to REAPER as the better DAW.
I made the point that I think Orion needs some updated work before I'd buy it over some comparably priced DAWS, that all.
It seems ORION is in need of an update in order to sell with the other DAWS in my opinion.
Not a REAPER user here but I respect the app and those who use it.

Don't take KVR (and me especially) too seriously, at least in a not too serious threadjjmcjj wrote:Is it cool to say that, here? Seems unnecessary.Mutant wrote:
