There is one called Pretosaur, or something similar, I seem to remember that doing a good saw.

Always the free Superwave one too. P8 I think that is.
Don't trust those with words of weakness, they are the most aggressive

Pretty much any good one, like the mentioned Synth 1, or even some Novakill stuff, Crystal, anything ... point is, to make a really big "modern" trance lead, you need to layer a lot of stuff. ...and as diverse sounds as you can, to make that layering meaningful. (but of course, main sound should be unisono, so Superwave, or that Synth 1)

12 years old PC running :Reaper;Reason;Dune;Zampler;Kontakr;Reaktor;and many others countless vst :D

+1 for Synth 1
you could also try Superwave P8

Trance Drive is good, too, and there are much modulation possibilities...

RBRWave has unison, stereo width detuning, and trancegate/arp, I use it rarely when I try a Trance style.

Yeah, modelled on the JP8000 sound I believe.

Trancedrive - it has only few presets, but supersaw-oscillators.

thanks all for the answers (Synth1 is one of my all time favourite :) ) but didn't knew about the others, so far have been impressed by TranceDrive which seems to really do its work...

oatmeal.
2 osc but up to 16 voices detuned and then gone chordal, you and your cpu can weep together.
sounds great though.
