I actually remember how disappointed I was when, after hearing this one, I went to check the Waves API and realized how it didn't even come close to the real character of the unit. Even the URS one had more character than the Waves version!

Having said that, the Tritone one had values which were very "Lo-res", quite roughly stepped (.5 db IIRC?). IMO, this made it not as useful as it could've been. Some kind of interpolation could have been used to address this.
Is this changed in the new version?

Btw, pity they discontinued Windows development.
this native version is stepped by 0.1db

Uh, yeah. :?
It almost annoys me.
Colortone and Hydratone are two plugs very high on my 'damn shame' list. They are amazing, but so fuct that they are difficult to use. I struggled with Colortone for a long time, and have since given up on it. Its so damn nice, and so damn buggy. Were they ever bug free on any PC system/host?
Its been a few years, and people have really really wanted Colortone to work. It sucks to see that they will finally be bug-free, on Macs. Id prolly be using Colortone on every project somewhere if it worked.
Hydratone isnt even listed on their site at all anymore?

Colortone vs. Waves NLS...?
