Hello, I feel silly.

I use this feature on my Microwave 1 all the time, but just can't find a way to assign a CC to the Largo's 4 assignable 'slots'.

Please don't tell me it's somewhere on the GUI, I tried every modifier-click combination, etc... :)

thank you VERY MUCH.

Largo has unfortunately fixed CCs..

well there are the four W X Y Z modulation sources, the manual says you can freely assign a CC to each of them and they don't seem to have one assigned ...

from the manual, 'modulation sources':
Control W, X, Y, Z -> assignable MIDI controller W to Z

bloody hell ...how do you assign them? :)

Post

Copy-pasted from Blofeld's manual. You can assign them on the Blofeld. But Largo doesn't seem to have that option.

Try e-mailing Waldorf about it, to see what they have to say.

Also seems to me they 'forgot'a way to assign them, as you can select them as sources ... very strange... and funny .... maybe you have to edit some plist file or such.

I'll write them!

ok, got a very friendly reply from waldorf support: the possibilty to assign the wxyz controllers to a CC will be rolled into the next update.

That's nice. :)

That would actually be amazing!! It will essentially mean you can use any parameter on the matrix from a cc control. I find it's not really possible at the moment beyond mapping from the mod wheel...

Largo is a million miles behind Massive in modulation and control routing... but this could help emulate 'macro' controls.
