Just purchased this, and I'm having several problems. I'm using Reaper 3.76 as my host, Windows XP (SP3). 1. The pitch wheel doesn't work and I'm not sure how to enable it...manual very cryptic! 2. Stuck MIDI keys with many presets. Not fun when trying to program!!! Again, manual is NO help! 3. Not sure how to save on CPU with some presets. Simply changing chords with certain ones and the sound breaks down into a static(ie) mess!

I had so many crashes with Reaper and Studio One when dealing with the CM version that I eventually just uninstalled

Thanks for getting the PKB II player

The pitch bend should work as it is. It's programmed per patch.

Other prolems : It might be that your CPU is a too short for some patches on the PKB II.

To reduce the CPU with any presets : 1/ Decrease number of unisson voices if any 2/ Decrease the number of voices 3/ Decrease the lenght of release of both volume and filter enveloppes.

The PolyKB can be demanding, this said I've made projects on my old Q9650 quadcore with around 14 tracks without having to freeze with the PolyKB II itself, wich have a bigger GUI/UI print.

For the manual, I'd suggest you DL the manual of the Xils PolyKB II itself ( the big brother) on Xils site : It will give you a complete overview of how the PloyKB II works.

As for the bugs you mention, the PolyKB has thousands of users, and we have not heard of such bugs until now, it is reported stable on all hosts/combinations, but .... just in case, please fell free to post details of your system, OS, DAws etc on Xils dedicated forums on Xils site, where we can monitor the feedback of our users more easily, and if there are some remaining problems with the specific player version, or it's present version, we'll fix them asap, as Xils is known to be a very reactive company.

Thanks for the feedback. Not sure why pitch bend is not working. As for the CPU stuff, I will try ALL or a combination of to alleviate that problem. GREAT presets BTW!!! I own the entire impOSCar line!
