I want to buy a masterkeyboard for my homestudio. What is the best one at this time in the price range 150 to 400€? Any proposals?

A used Yamaha AN1x or CS1x, because there's nothing new that's as good in this price range.

For a purpose designed master keyboard see what Novation and Roland/Edirol have on offer.

Both companies make controllers with lots of knobs and sliders. Novation will give you that XY controller (on the SL range) which is mighty useful with some soft synths that offer XY pads. The Impulse model will give you drum pads as will the Roland PCR range. Roland A-800PRO with five octaves is 350 euro so that's an excellent choice. Novations five octave SL61 is about 450 euro sadly (the Impulse is 366 euro).

There are many other options though from other companies.

Another excellent choice is Novation's older SL range with double LCD screens (second hand).

I've got a Novation SL MkII, and I like it a lot. I honestly haven't got _that_ much to compare to, but in general I think the keys of it has a good feel to them (as far as semi weighted go). Also the knobs & sliders have got a nice touch (love that they're touch sensitive when doing mappings). HOWEVER: The drum pads are horrible IMO, and on mine one of them doesn't even work properly. Other than that; love it. Actually looks pretty good as well.

Best masterkeyboard in this time...
