Music made with Rob Papen's RG?

So I've been looking for a used copy, not sure how many are out there but I'm holding out till someone sells one to me, but I was interested to hear tracks others have made using this plugin, see what sorts of tracks you all have made, and maybe catch the eye of someone that wants to sell me their under-used unwanted copy
So anyone have anything to share?

I'm wondering how many have bought this plugin, is it just not very popular? I love arps and step sequencers so I want it to just fiddle with, but I never hear anyone sing its praises around here.

Have you tried the demo? I have a copy of it but never use it/never really got around to learning it. The sequencer part makes it a much different beast to the likes of AAS Strum series.

Yeah, I tried and liked the demo, but got Strum Electric actually since it is more flexible musically. But I'd still like RG, for what it is it is cool. But my demo timed out long ago.Redspark wrote:Have you tried the demo? I have a copy of it but never use it/never really got around to learning it. I also had and sold Sugar Bytes Guitarist which is extremely cool, just I didn't like having to write everything in its sequencer. RG is somewhere in the middle of these but with its own synth which I find compelling, but its big limitation is that you only get major and minor chords. Anyhow I'm sort of collecting arps and step sequencers which to me is more interesting than owning a ton of synths. My physical desterity is getting worse and worse so being able to compose a groove and just have fun jamming with a finger makes up for my physical disability.

Sorry - with so many projects it's hard to remember where I've used it - this is where a new version of PlugView would really come in handy

i did this together with Thomekk for the KvR contest, September 2011. there is a lot of RG in it. it's Kraut; so not to everybody's taste.

Oh it's weird, I love it! Since you mentioned Kraut (I don't know that musical style really) I thought I'd post this (obviously not using RG):mellotronaut wrote:http://www.musik-und-text.de/streams/K- ... t-mama.mp3

thank you, Braj! my favourite Kraut band is Can. they had a lunatic Japanese vocalist and an incredibly quantising drummer:

Cool! I have an affinity for the Kraut style myself, I was born in Germany so maybe that's whymellotronaut wrote:thank you, Braj! my favourite Kraut band is Can. they had a lunatic Japanese vocalist and an incredibly quantising drummer:

born in the 70's?
where are you now?
my problem with Germany can be seen here:
the band grooves and the audience is frozen.
so i'm a Canary now, beep beep

Very late 60's
I'm in San Francisco, I moved to the US when I was 4, so not like I remember much of anything from Germany. Still my father (who is Welsh) used to call me his 'little Kraut' all the time when I was little.
