Does this edition have the usual CM software (sampler etc?) as well as the CM ADM? I haven't bought an edition for years and quite like the look of the drum machine.

Yes, all the CM Studio software is included on the current DVD!

Just come back to CM again a couple of years ago. Been buying annual subsciptions ever since. Really impressed with the software givaweays, some real gems. As mentioned the Dune & Diversion combination is awesome.
As soon as I got the Dune issue I set about a thorough test by making a track using only Dune (except for Kick, Hat & Snare.)This is what happened:

There are Several Diversion instances on the fx sends...

Must also say a word for the Curve CM givaway too. Such agreat synth. I have used it in most tracks i have made since that issue.
