Can you guys confirm that this is true for me?
Ring modulation = the amplitude of the modulator modulating the amplitude of the carrier.
Frequency Modulation = the amplitude of the modulator modulating the frequency of the carrier.
Also can someone explain the phenomenon behind Ring Modulation and Frequency modulation. Why is it that when we modulate something with audible frequency speeds that the tones of the sound become metallic sounding or distorted?
