I'm not a Reaper user... but in Cubase... the Waves plugins got re-organized under different categories than I was expecting. So I was looking for them under Waves, while meanwhile they got sorted into different folders by category, e.g. Dynamic Processors, EQs, etc. Maybe that is what's happening in Reaper as well?
Available on iTunes, Amazon, etc.

Don't want to make this too much of a commercial, but I am hoping you bought your bundle from a discount dealer (my preference is Waves Universe  ). You can always find a better deal than direct from Waves.

I firmly believe that once you have purchased, downloaded, and registered your products the first time, it will be much easier on subsequent go-arounds. Same holds for demos. First time might be confusing, but the process is consistent so it will get easier each time.

Yes, thank you, luckily I found WavesUniverse before I took the plunge.

I first got the Gold, and then CLA Classic Compressors, and discovered I had to redo installer again. They did a pretty good job I think, but could all be inside the LicenseCenter really - at least updates like NI does.

And also found a vendor that is cheaper on some Waves stuff - AudioDeluxe.com. But they don't run everything Waves as far as I could tell. Something I checked was $40 cheaper than wu in the $250 range of products.

Since it's electronic delivery of a license it's all the same from where you buy.

WU are good guys. They answer emails at all hours and provide great service. Just picked up the SSL bundle tonight.

I checked through all my plugins including synths but no luck. Even a plugin search in Reaper brought nothing up for 'Waves', 'Wave', 'Tune', 'Wavesshell', 'Shell', 'Vocal', 'Bundle' etc. etc. The only thing I could find was a Waves rewire plug.

The other thing to check is that the VC++ runtime installed properly. You can re-install this by executing the C:\Program Files\Waves9\Utilities\vcredist_x64.exe or vcredist_x86.exe. Run them as administrator. If they're already installed you have nothing to lose by doing them again.

I've demoed most Waves9 plugs and found the process pretty straightforward, I hope you get it sorted. One other thing to note, if you plan on disabling your ethernet adapter and have chosen to store the license on your hard drive the license will become invalid until you re-enable that adapter again. Seems the NIC is used to formulate the lock id the license is bound to. If you don't want to use a NIC then use the WLC to transfer licenses back to the Waves Cloud then from there onto a USB key.

Good luck.

re-downloading the installer caught me out the first time too.
keep it saved on your computer somewhere and just run it when you need to.

Thanks for the kind words. Our traditional hours are 9-5 EDT, but our emails are pumped to our smart phones, so we are notified of emails at all hours. As long as we can access our laptops we try to fill orders and answer emails. We don't advertise it because sometimes we just can't get to our computers.

Thanks for your suggestion it didn't resolve the problem unfortunately. Perhaps Waves isn't compatible with my system although I find that hard to believe because I have a lot of different software installed without incident. Waves don't support Reaper so I'll leave it at that and move on.

There's an update to Vielklang soon and there's always Melodyne so there are other options to Waves Tune.
