Just installed the free vinyl from Tonebytes and @ the same time it installed babylon toolbar and changed my homepage for me.Thankyou very much!
So i did a scan after and malwarebytes found a PUP Adware agent..Lovely....AAaargh!

When I installed it, Antivir found something in \Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5
I Deleted the Adware
No babylon toolbar, nore homepage changes, though...
Tonebytes should explain all this pronto!

To think I almost got them confused with Toneboosters ("hey, a free vinyl plugin by Jeroen! Cool!")... thanks for the warning, and sorry for your trouble. That really sucks.

I tried to install it in Sandboxie and it froze. I extracted the contents with Uniextract.

Sounds ok for crackles, the filter part at the left is a little too cheap.

Synthedit plugins don't need installers.

Their Bleep plugin (c64 sid chip plugin) does the same thing. It's a good plugin with good presets, but it's hard to recommend when they include semi-spyware without even warning their users.

I saw the exe in the zip and promptly deleted it. I knew it was not "free"
