My votes... this time some reviews, as well
5pts - Doc Jon - Tribal Dawn
Very polished mix / production (as usual), amazing intro - for some reason it reminded me Iona's Sunrise and 11th dimension intro... the trademark is yours! I liked the use of the voices, and the overall mood you depict in this track, which flows seamlessly and peacefully. Thanks for the Music, Maestro
4pts - RuediRena - Wing Over (Suspended in Mid-air)
The use of the human voices captured me from the first listen - as I posted on sc, it reminds me some tracks by Art of Noise. Very creative and delightfully weird, I like your "prog" style
3pts - Yeager - Die!
An impressive ascending climax, especially in the first part. In particular, I still can't believe all that aggressive drums come from Plex!
2pts - Vadymmykh - Move your azz!
First of all, welcome to OSC
. As RuediRena noticed, this track deserves a further development with a revamped drum part: very difficult to come up with decent drums with Plex - even if Yeager and Doc Jon made an excellent work on that direction. Very groovy, I'm still headbanging
1pt - Skyzone (a.k.a. Fabrizio) - That plex sounds
At first I preferred your "Gentille", but with a repeated listening my preference is for "That Plex sounds". Very creative and well produced - keep an eye to that cabasa on the left
. Keep on the good work.
HM to:
Gorgorgathgorgorgor (time for a nanozombies saga EP?), Evo2Slo (nice old fashioned style), AdagioCm (why not a complete orchestral track?
), Kraftraum (very Kraft-werk!), Z-prime (keep on the experimental inspiration), Bumtu (good ideas, it could be interesting to add some ambient noises).
Thanks for sharing your tracks - a constant source of inspiration for me - and for your kind and constructive feedback.

It's certainly difficult to pick five among so many great tracks!
5 - Bzur - Whispered Shouts. Amazing dynamics, great sounds, great production quality.
4 - Doc Jon - Tribal Dawn. Creative, polished. Great use of vocal sounds. I wish I could vote for two top tracks
3 - Skyzone - Plex Sings Again. I enjoyed all 4 of your tracks, but this one was the most interesting and plexy one.
2 - RuediRena - Wing Over (Suspended in Mid-Air). Weird in a cool way. Certainly evokes the suspended-in-mid-air mood.
1. Evo2slo - Easy As Breathing. Fun and creative.
Other tracks I particularly enjoyed:
Bumtu - Plex Space Cafe. Crackles me up
Kraftraum- Rotation 5. Nice sounds and rhythm.
R0z - Rainbow Mouse. Cute.
Yeager - Die!. Amazing drum sounds, especially considering that this is plex.
And what happened to Plexus Solar Dust??? It disappeared from the site.
Thanks Bzur and Skyzone for the HM!

1 - AdagioCM - Desiree - 5 Points
Great balad and composition, the tempo fits perfect with my heartbeat. The armonic choirs part it's just amazing. My 5 points for you, in my playlist.
2 - Yeager - Die! - 4 Points
Amazing production, rhythm, powerful, melodic. I thought that the beginning it was the powerful part, but the track keeps growing every minute. Brutal. In my playlist.
3 - Doc Jon - Tribal Dawn - 3 Points
Lush Pads, ethnic beat, stunning quality and an unexpected Reggae track with voices!
4 - RuediRena - Wing Over - 2 Points
As usual the master of minimalistic and FX sounds. These vocals are in my mind, and they don't wanna go.
5 - Bumtu - Plex Space Cafe - 1 Point
Interesting track with strange FX sounds and a nice beat.
Be creative prizes
·Prize to the sixth track (ran out of points): Quaoar - Implex/Kraftraum - Rotation 5/Skyzone - Gentille
·Prize to the best title: Bzur - Whispered Shouts
·Prize to the best portrait: Yeager - Die!
And sorry but no more points left. It was difficult as usual.
Thanks for participating this month to everyone, and keep up the good work. I hope to see you all the next month.
Have a good day guys. Let's see if i can do something with Augur, now that i lost my job again...

5 Points
Bumtu - Plex Space Cafe
Love this piece. So moody and dark, creepy little noises, haunting lead reedy strings, you got some cool textures and tones… I cant put my finger on what it reminds me of…
4 Points
Doc Jon - Tribal Dawn
Awesome intro, wild vocals all over this thing, just crazy good.
3 Points
bzur - Whispered Shouts
You can seemingly do no wrong, I love the dynamic range of this piece, the composition is huge and interesting to the end, just awesome. I need to be able to put up three first places...
2 Points
Kraftraum - Rotation 5
Nice stuff, I'm hearing All sorts of wonderful things… I find myself on the edge of my seat waiting for the next section…
1 Point
Ruedi Rena - Wing Over
Love the vocal intro, very creepy. There's a stumbling bass thing in the second part that I don't care for, but I'm enjoying it nonetheless… I'm glad you came back to the vocal thing at the end… + Filtered bass, cool!
Honorable Mentions
Yeager - Die!
Love the explosions! Fletch Lives! definitely got a lot out of Plex!
z prime - Plastique
Monstrous low end, nice and dark, cool.

I have a doubt... I don't really post a lot here on KVR so I dunno can I vote. But it still me, a real person and a competitor.
Well, first thanx to bzur for voting for me
But, as a scientist I always appreciate a truth and I will vote for the best track, not for the best person.
Ironically, I considered bzur's track the best just about 3 days ago. Well, my votes here:
bzur - Whispered shouts 5 points.
You put a lot of emmotions in your track! The moment on 50 second... I covered with goose bumps while heard it. Just great piece of music, friend!
Yeager - Die! 4 points.
One of best track I have EVER heard on OSC!!! I even say more, PLEX competition is probably the best competition in the history! All tracks are really great! But as always, one of them are better and one of them I already have on my player for everyday listening. Yeager, brother, you have my big respect for such a great "destructive" job you've done here in your mix!
Doc Jon - Tribal Dawn 3 points.
When I listen to all tracks here I noticed that at least one of instruments should sound like "typical PLEX". But I didn't hear it in your track!
You are a kind of magician, mister Jon, and I appreciate your track greatly!
plex cant stop singing 2 points
I like epic themes so when I have two tracks, one of them is technically very hard and another has awesome melody, I vote for melody. That was my point why I voted for this track, which is quitely simple.
Bumtu - Plex Space Cafe 1 point.
Sorry for only one point, my friend, your track deserves more. If there were no tracks I voted for just before, you'd have more scores.
Skyzone (a.k.a. Fabrizio), I told your track Gentille was the best. Oh, it really was at the moment I heard few tracks. But all guys I voted for made a great noise!!! So they deserve points. But still, your track is in my player and I listen to it while travelling.
Well, as I said, AWESOME competition! AWESOME tracks, It wasn't difficult to work with PLEX, but it really was much difficult to vote. Thank you for the opportunity to be heard, thank you all for friendship and good luck with this month's synth (which for me looks like a piece of c%^p comparing with plex, haha).
Kindly, Vadymmykh.

Hi all,
Great tunes by all here, really impressed with some of the vocal sounds that have been conjured up from this synth. I personally didn't take well to plex with all it's new fangled synthesis technology, i'm a bit of a '2 osc's, 2 filters' man myself, but anyway, great competition / challenge!
my votes:
5 Points
Tribal Dawn - Doc John
Amazing intro, sounds like u got Holly Johnson from Frankie goes to Hollywood on vocals, then into that infectious reggae groove with them mazing tribal drums, takes you to another place! clear winner for me.
4 Points
Adagiocm - Mare Desiderii
Excellent composition idea, would love to hear this with guitars and Beatles style 'Aaaah' vocals! but then i suppose that's a bit difficult in plex or any 1 synth for that matter
3 Points
Yeager - Die
Reminded me of The prodigy, wicked! How did you manage to make plex shout 'Die' like that, menacing!
2 Points
Bzur - Whispered Shouts
Amazing, professional sounding track, very atmospheric, i love that Superb 'Wagnerian' melody strings part that comes in @ around 1.46, that's a proper heart strings puller, awesome!
1 Point
Bumtu - Plex space cafe
That groove for the first section is so behind the beat! cool! i can imagine Dr John ranting in a voodoo stylee over the top of it.
Well done to all other entries too, 'Easy As Breathing' & 'That Plex sound' were very closely bubbling under the top 5.
Anyhow, really enjoyed listening.
Cheers
