Maybe I should've done more research but I would have thought it'd work no probs as the synth station is powered by batteries, but it is saying on the iPad " accessory won't work-requires too much power" !!
Anyone got this to work.. I thought the camera kit was meant for midi in?
wtf! can't get synth station 25 controller to work with camera kit into ipad

iosmidi says it'll work, but via a USB hub. Not sure if they mean powered USB hub or just an unpowered USB hub, though. I have a dinky old unpowered USB hub which I use with my Zoom H4N. It is also battery powered but the iPad was saying it couldn't power it (even when the H4N was running on batteries or plugged into the wall) but as soon as I threw the (unpowered) USB hub between the iPad and the Zoom, it worked perfectly. So you might try that first.

Thanks for the reply, doesn't work with the hub i have (unpowered) but i plugged in my korg nanokey and it actually powers it and works, so i have a portable solution.. Pretty silly tho how it runs the unpowered controller fine but the one that has power it wont run as it needs 'too much power' !! Go figure!?

It just seems strange cause all that is being sent out the usb is midi on the synthstation 25 and it has 4aaa batteries to power it.. I guess korg made it like that as they have a dedicated ipad keyboard maybe ...
