Hi

Some years ago when I was working on a very different computer (was Pentium 2 I think) I had in a track a synth that had a... salamander or a lizard on the GUI, and the most important, one of the presets sounded like a feedbacky guitar, very much like Robert Fripp.

I know I'm a little bit like but any kind of help would be appreciated

There is even a preset called 'Frippertronics'. Though to my ear it isn't anything special and I dare say it's easily created in many other available synths probably even Alchemy.

Time for a CamelAudio intervention.

I know that at the time I was in a "King Crimson" mood, listening most of their albums, Fripp or Levin+Bozzio solo projects and to me sounded like those.
Maybe now if I would listen to it I would be less impressed, still, if Alchemy is loading old Cameleon files I would buy it.

Yes, the full version of Alchemy does load Cameleon 5000 presets. However, the Frippertronics preset is still available within the Cameleon: Remixed soundbank, which can be used with either the free Alchemy Player or the full version of Alchemy.
