What if the demo blows you away when they release it this Christmas, if the world doesn't end?
It might turn out to be subjectively better for whatever some Live users use Live for, than Live. It's paid user base will be coming from somewhere besides people like Hibidy who will buy every DAW anyway. I assume some will come over from Live.
(just kidding hibidy
I have a strong feeling that if they ever release this thing, it's gonna be nice for the electronic looper guys and all will be forgiven.

the Bitwigs heard from their 'spies' in the Ableton office, when nº9 will come out and what will be inside and so they work feverishly on stuff, that won't be in Live 9 to get a part of the cake: the more competition, the better the products!

In theory, this is wonderful, but in practice it's something entirely different.tinusk wrote:I don't mind that the (beta) release will be postponed until it's ready
When was the first time we heard of bitwig? And where is the product? I mean, if it takes YEARS to develop something, would it not have been wiser to mention it, not have all the price leaks and yak of "public beta" and so on wait?
just sayin'

Don't worry the WORLD has already ended , the MAYA didn't include leap years into there calendar , so technically according to there calendar the world has end already , I think it ended on Y2K or sometime before that !!

Bitter? Me? Na.
At least I get a nice guitar tone out of the sims and can use maschine for a nice metronome
