I'm looking for a high-precision VST EQ. that will allow me to say "apply ±X db to Y frequency" with a real low "wideness" so it won't affect the adjacent frequencies too much.

Hope I'm clear enough.

Oh, it has to be for Windows and 32 bits. Lightweight and freeware if it's possible.

Thank you.

Most parametric EQ's do just that.

Yes, I've tried many but most of them has a very low Q. The slope of the curve is not high enough to avoid affecting the adjacent frequencies.

Hmm, try Rubberfilter. It has very steep filters.

Fabfilter Pro-Q can get pretty narrow.
Has anybody ever really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

Also the notch filter of the free MEqualizer is very steep.

RubberFilter makes MixMeister crashes (I know it's a pretty buggy program, but it's the easiest when to make playlists when there is no DJ)

FabFilter ProQ did the trick pretty well. Too bad is way too expensive =(

Use Cockos ReaEQ ;P

What is MixMeister and if it sucks why are you using it? Programs should work FOR you not AGAINST you.
