Its exciting to see this from DMG.
The DMG Comp and EQ have completely taken over as my go-tos. I cant wait to see how you approach a tool that has a little more.. funk.
We've approached it by completely lacking "Moderation" in the amount of funk we added. To say that it's "excessively" funky might well be understatement... but of course, you should be the judges of that... ;)

First actual demo sounds mental, i hope we get a combo of mental / subtle demos

Thanks for keeping true with promise :tu:

EDIT: just saw valhalla's post :dog: :-o
Is the second track ("make my funk the pitchfunk") sufficiently subtle for you? ;)

Honestly, Krzysztof rendered me speechless with that. I'm still not entirely sure how he pulled that off.

the second track is using pitchfunk?
Compare Sean's youtube with the track... ;)
Ok i thought that was the track..

so this is the very high quality bending i am hearing going on, is that correct?
Yeah, basically.

"Make my funk the P-Funk" -> "Make my funk the PitchFunk".

If we use this well in our sacred funk tracks, will we be known as PitchMonks?

We'd still have to bend to CardinalPitch for our blessings, though. :D

perception: the stuff reality is made of.

The Parliament parody was because I woke up and read Sean's post, so I climbed out of bed and made it quick. As per the rules of the PitchFunk genre, both were made in under 15 minutes - although I admit I used no sine tones in the Parliament one...I just did it for japes.

As you can hear in Roger Clemens (my favourite suggestion for an alternative name on this thread), it's capable of time based effects too; you can edit drums in it if you think about it a bit. We'll include all of the setups that made these sounds as presets, obviously.

I'd be very keen to hear what it could do with, say, a solo voice (without it going too mental)...

I quickly knocked something up for you with a solo voice, Dave will stick it on Soundcloud in a bit. Also, I stuck some presets on the Amen and output that too, but that's more Roger Clemens. I'll do some proper ones when I've got some time.

there's also quite some funk in SE & SM creations when properly/creatively designed

No band limits, aliasing is the noise of freedom!
