With a dongle you could have as many installs as you want, even at a computer of another person. You just have to enter the dongle at that computer.

I prefer serial numbers or key files too but having to use a dongle does not hold me back fro musing certain plugins.

True. But then you always have to have your dongle(s) with you, and to me, that's a pain. Especially if you NEVER work on someone else's rig.

I did a project with a buddy not long ago, and we agreed just to use plugs that we both owned, so we could easily trade the files back and forth. Worked perfectly.

Just bounce audio to go along with your midi... if you need to redo a part be creative/competitive and make it better with whatever you have to hand...? Jeez take the midi and audio from a VST and 'improve it' with a real synth if you like...

Whinge much....

I got Xils 3 Beat Edition and just LOVE the sound of it. I've been eyeing Synthix awhile now, but I just broke down and bought the Poly KB Player.....
Can't wait to play with that now.
I started the topic because i genuinely love the synth and think it's worth every cent unlike some other expensive products.
do share... what ripped you off?

Just wanted to add, i love the i haven't installed the banks yet, but i am thinking this synth is going to be in need of some bigtone love, etc.
Well, I didn't even have the time to try synthix, which is a shame , cos I love the elka synthex hefty.... One time I'll really have to check it, as I love the original filters and the ensemble chorus of the synthex to death.... If days would on:ly feature 48 hours... :?
