Hi,

Camel Audio is hoping to announce the the next update to Alchemy Mobile a little later this week. In the mean time we have released 3 new sound libraries for Alchemy Mobile:
  • Biolabs: Dark Space
  • Dream Voices
  • Luftrum: Ambient
Each of these Alchemy Mobile sound libraries feature 50 presets in a wide variety of sound categories. Audio demos are provided within Alchemy Mobile, as well as on our site: Biolabs: Dark Space, Dream Voices and Luftrum: Ambient.

All three are available now as in-app purchases for only USD 4.99 / EUR 3.99 / GBP 2.99 each. Those of you who own the Alchemy Mobile Pro Upgrade and the equivalent Alchemy or Alchemy Player sound library may download your copy for free.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to post here or contact support [at] camelaudio [dot] com.

Peace,
Camel Audio.

Biolabs: Dark Space is a nightmare blend of science fiction and horror, both fascinating yet strangely chilling. Twisted soundscapes, tortured machines, distressed scrapes, evolving impacts, possessed basses and freaky effects for electronica and soundtrack.

Image

Dream Voices features a haunting medley of angelic solos, choral washes, and intricately woven vocal gymnastics for electronica and ambient. Morphed voices combine to create ethereal soundscapes, scanned vowels and other otherworldly articulations.

Luftrum: Ambient features warm, shimmering pads and soundscapes, gentle arpeggios, delicate, and ethereal sound effects for ambient and film music. Full of fascinating details covering interior and exterior atmospheres, rural ambiences and synth soundscapes.

These sound great! Will the new alchemy app have more transfer features between the mobile and plugin version?

That will happen when we release Alchemy v1.30 in a few weeks time.

--As someone who has bought several of your soundbanks and loved them but find them impractical to use live I really wish you'd consider a librarian program. I've got anothger app that they did just that to use with their soundfonts so I don't understand why you can't do that for your banks...

Will that allow drag and drop? That's the #1 thing I'm hoping for at this point. Everything else is a distant second. Well, better browser a visible second, everything else a distant third :)

Hi Scott,

We have just made the v1.23 update to Alchemy Mobile available, which should be available to download sometime tomorrow. This version allows presets from any sound library to be marked "favourite". Favourite presets may be loaded from a separate bank list. There are several other new features and bug fixes which we'll announce later.
Are there any demos that show what the mobile sounds will sound like?
Unfortunately we don't have Mobile specific demos, so you'll have to take the demos in the app as a guide to what the sounds are like. That said, we think the demos do a pretty good job of representing the Mobile versions.

The most common complaint we're received about the audio demos vs. what's included with the Mobile sound libs is the lack of Keys presets in the BigTone library - which we fixed recently with an update to the BIgTone bank.

Peace,
Andy.

It's not going to be drag n drop - there will be a save option on the File menu that collects all of the files required for a preset and puts them in a package that will install on Alchemy Mobile via the iTunes share folder.

Peace,
Andy.

---You guys are great! thanks....

Bought all of the new libraries and they are really nice! The alchemy mobile update is super nice also. My number one request was the recording of the remix pad movement, now it's here! While I look forward to preset transferring, I think audio exporting especially while recording remix pad movements, is a lot more useful. This is really evident as the alchemy plugin doesn't even allow remix pad recording as of now. Nice app guys!

---The favorites addition is great and now I have to go back through all of those libraires as well as the news ones that I'm going to buy and work them into the band....Thanks for listening to us...

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for bringing out the Luftrum sound pack. That was my only request. I've told many people how I want to see this available for the Mobile version. Now it's out.
