MuLab on Mac / Apple ?

I just installed MuLab [Free] tonight. Was happy to find a seemingly robust but small recording suite, and mostly for free. However, I'm on a Mac and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get any sound from MuLab. Also, it seems I'm unable to record audio from external microphone.
the tracks are not on Mute. The demo songs would play, but no sound/output with them either.
I've searched the forums, and about 599 results were returned with "mac".
My specs are:
1.25 GHz PowerPC G4. 1 MB L3 Cache. 512 MB DDR sdram. Operating system is OS X v10.4.11
the microphone I'm using is a usb microphone (specifically, CAD u37).
I don't feel that that my computer is at issue, as I'm easily able to record and playback using Audacity and Ardour. Also, I understand this is a problem with windows machines not running ASIO driver. That driver only works on Windows, though, right?
Maybe there are some audio settings I'm not configuring correctly. Is JACK required to route the audio input in to MuLab?
I'm anxious to get MuLab working, and any help is appreciated!

Thanks, standalone. Am I not already on the MuLab forum though? Or should I post the same question on the forum you posted the link to?

okay, sorry. I see the difference between this forum and the specific MuLab forum. My original post was pretty late at night, lol.

Yes, Mulab (Mutools) forum is a subforum at Kvr Audio. I lost count of how many developers are here:

Your problem seems an easy one, probably just selecting the right option in the audio menu. But I am a PC user and I know nothing about Mac. Post there and I'm sure that you will be up and running in no time.
